Free at last!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><em>Thank God Almighty, I&#8217;m free at last!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m back at home! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While I&#8217;m very thankful for my treatment, the HSC, and the staff of D6 who took such excellent care of me for 21 days I am glad to be &#8220;free&#8221; and back at home. And, truly thankful to God Almighty for my healing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For a couple of days I have been thinking of using the last lines from <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.americanrhetoric.com\/speeches\/mlkihaveadream.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Martin Luther King Jr.&#8217;s speech<\/a>. I&#8217;d never read the entire speech before today. And while I hope that civilization has made some progress in the last 57 years it&#8217;s clear that we have a long ways to go yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>There are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, &#8220;When will you be satisfied?&#8221; We can never be satisfied as long as the Negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality.\u00a0<\/p><cite>Martin Luther King, Jr., I Have a Dream, delivered 28 August 1963, at the Lincoln Memorial, Washington D.C.<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Free at last!
