Originally in the move to Bluehost I created a new domain name “thenewbigdadoo.com”, original eh? But, this might lead to some difficulties with anyone who had links to bigdadoo.com. Well, I did take care of that as outlined here. That worked redirecting bigdadoo.com to thenewbigdadoo.com but it didn’t feel quite right so, a change of plans.
Turns out I can get Bluehost to essentially reverse the priority and purpose of my domain names by making bigdadoo.com the primary domain on the Bluehost account and have thenewbigdadoo.com as unassigned, parked, or add-on.
There were a few bumps encountered with these changes that requires a little tech assistance from the good folks at Bluehost, but after all that messing around everything is as it was before the move except that I have a new domain name and I’m not sure what to do with thenewbigdadoo.com just yet. I may let it expire in a year or who know.
